GAI-Tronics explosion-proof telephones are engineered to provide secure, clear, and reliable communication in hazardous and high-noise industrial environments. These units are NRTL-qualified for use in the US and North America across hazardous locations: Category I, Div. 1, Groups C and D; Category II, Div. 1, Groups E, F, and G; and Category III, Div. 1. Each unit features a front-panel paging option, a 6-foot PVC coiled cord, a noise-canceling microphone to minimize feedback, and side-tone circuitry to reduce amplification of the user’s own voice. The intrinsically-safe design is ensured by an internally mounted protective barrier. Multi-party models include a durable rotary switch for line selection, and weather-resistant models feature non-metallic enclosures with front-access doors.
